When it comes to pistol competition, divisions that allow optics are where all of the action is. However, not long ago, the optics and guns they went on made it nearly impossible to afford to get into the sport. As lower-priced, higher-quality pistols have found their way onto the shelves, the same has happened with red dots. Offering a new value-priced, full-featured option, Atibal Sights has just introduced the CRD, or Competition Red Dot.
"The Atibal CRD 3 MOA / 6 MOA competition red dot sight is designed to streamline pistol competition and 3 gun shooting. The large viewport of the CRD will provide ample sight picture clarity during one or two eyes open operation. The lightweight design of the CRD ensures the optic will not impede the function of the user or the platform and the RMR footprint compatibility enables the Atibal CRD to fit a wide array of slide cuts and mounting plates from a large variety of manufacturers."
The Atibal Sights Competition Red Dot comes with either a 3 MOA or 6 MOA dot. It uses the Trijicon RMR footprint, making it compatible with many existing slide cuts. The dot boasts a 40,000-hour battery life from one bottom-loaded CR2032 battery. This is aided by the 4-hour auto-shutoff feature. The CRD has 10 brightness settings and each click of adjustment has a 1 MOA value.
